Each stick contains the same feature set and functions for the widest variety of play patterns and to keep tooling costs to a minimum. The exception is a swap-out tooling part on the back underside of the stick. One stick has a button for cycling though rhythm tracks, and the other holds an audio jack to allow connection to an external music player.
