Public Sculpture Furniture

Materials: Steel, aluminum

The use of a truss structure and patterned steel seat serves two functions: it both mimics the established aesthetic of the accompanying sculptures and uses the established fabrication tools, hardware and techniques used to build the sculpture. This allowed the furniture to be assembled in-house, reducing cost and facilitating project management.
